SharpLaunch Integration

Overview

Dealius integrates with SharpLaunch, a property marketing platform, to automatically publish listing and property data from Dealius to your SharpLaunch account. Once connected, Dealius pushes property, space, and financial data to SharpLaunch either automatically on save or on demand. SharpLaunch returns a direct link to the published listing, which Dealius displays on the listing profile.

Dealius is the system of record for this integration. All data should be maintained in Dealius. SharpLaunch field values for mapped fields will be overwritten on each sync.

Who can use this feature

  • Super Admins can enable and configure the integration.
  • Office Admins can trigger manual syncs by default.
  • Other roles can be granted manual sync access by an admin.

Setting up the integration

The SharpLaunch integration is enabled by the Dealius team. Once enabled for your office:

  1. Go to Admin > System Settings.
  2. Locate the SharpLaunch Settings section (visible to Super Admins only).
  3. Click Connect SharpLaunch and enter the API key provided by SharpLaunch for your office.
  4. Select a sync mode: Manual (default) or Automatic.

Note: Active listings created before the integration was enabled will not sync unless they are edited and saved after the connection is established.

Security: Never share your SharpLaunch API key. If it is compromised, contact SharpLaunch to issue a new one, then update it in System Settings.

Syncing a listing

Manual sync

  1. Open the listing profile.
  2. Click Sync to SharpLaunch.
  3. Dealius sends the listing data to SharpLaunch and receives the SharpLaunch listing URL in return.
  4. The listing profile updates to show the SharpLaunch link and the sync timestamp.

Automatic sync

No action is required. When Automatic mode is enabled, every qualifying listing save triggers a sync. The SharpLaunch link appears on the listing profile after the first successful sync.

Sync eligibility

A listing must meet all of the following conditions to be eligible for sync:

  • The listing status is not Closed.
  • The listing was created or last saved after the integration was enabled.
  • The SharpLaunch integration is active for the Dealius instance.

Sync audit trail

Every sync event is logged on the listing profile with:

  • Date and time of the sync
  • The user who triggered it
  • A direct link to the SharpLaunch listing

SharpLaunch also displays a timestamp showing when the listing was last synced from Dealius.

Conflict resolution

On each sync, Dealius overwrites all mapped SharpLaunch fields with the current Dealius values. The one exception: if a Dealius field is empty but the corresponding SharpLaunch field has a value, SharpLaunch keeps its value. Only non-empty Dealius fields are pushed.

If you edit fields directly in SharpLaunch, those changes will be overwritten the next time the listing syncs from Dealius.

Special scenarios

Relisting a property When a previously sold or leased property is re-listed, Dealius creates a new record in SharpLaunch. A new availability is created on each sync rather than updating an existing one, preserving the historical record.

Deleting a synced listing in Dealius Deleting a listing that has been synced displays a warning. Confirming the deletion permanently disconnects the listing from SharpLaunch. The property record in SharpLaunch is not deleted — it is simply disconnected.

Deleting a record in SharpLaunch If a property or availability is deleted directly in SharpLaunch, Dealius removes the synced indicator from the listing but retains all listing data. No Dealius records are deleted.

Property merge in Dealius Because Dealius stores a snapshot of the property state at the time of listing, merging duplicate properties does not automatically affect SharpLaunch. If a user refreshes the property on a Dealius listing after a merge, the updated property and space data will be pushed to SharpLaunch on the next sync.

Frequently asked questions

What happens to SharpLaunch data when I update a listing in Dealius? All mapped fields in SharpLaunch are overwritten with the Dealius values on the next sync. Manual edits made directly in SharpLaunch will be lost unless the corresponding Dealius field is empty.

Can SharpLaunch send data back to Dealius? In Phase 1, the only data returned from SharpLaunch to Dealius is the listing URL. Full two-way sync is not in scope for this phase.

What does Closed status mean for sync? Listings with a Closed status are excluded from sync entirely and will not be pushed to SharpLaunch.

Who can use the manual sync button? Office Admins by default. An admin can grant sync access to other roles.

What is an Availability in SharpLaunch? Availability is the SharpLaunch term for what Dealius calls a Space — an individual unit within a property, such as a suite in an office building. A property can exist in SharpLaunch without any availabilities.

What is Duplicate Detection? Duplicate detection — automatically matching an existing SharpLaunch record to a Dealius listing instead of creating a new one — is not included in Phase 1. It is planned for a future release.
