External Listings

How to create and manage external listings in Dealius to track market availabilities not represented by your agency.

Overview

External listings allow users to track availabilities on the market that are not represented by the agency. This is useful when conducting an availability analysis to find suitable spaces or properties for a tenant or buyer. External listings can be created from the Listings page or directly from a Property Profile using the Add External Listing option.

 

External vs. Internal Listings

The External Listing profile is nearly identical to an internal listing profile with the following differences:

  • The Brokers section lists brokers but does not include a commission split.
  • The Listing Information section includes a Listing Origin field — a dropdown indicating where the listing was sourced:
    • LoopNet
    • CoStar
    • MLS
    • Moody's
    • Crexi
    • Other

Closing an external listing can be done by setting its status to Off Market or by creating a Comp from it.

A setting under Admin > System Settings > Listing Settings controls whether client information is required on external listings.

Listing Space Terms

Transaction terms for a space are stored at the listing level and can vary from listing to listing. These fields are editable in the Listing Profile > Space Edit Terms popup:

  • Sale Price
  • Asking Rate per SF
  • Lease Type
  • Additional Lease Type
  • TI Allowance per SF
  • TI Type
  • Date on Market (can differ from the main listing date)

When a space is added to a deal or comp via a listing, the following fields are auto-populated:
