Add Landlord Rep Deal
A guide to creating a Landlord Rep deal, including property details, listing integration, and broker setup.
Overview
The Add Landlord Rep form combines deal and listing entry into one form to reduce data entry. Fields and sections mirror the Add Listing page where applicable.
Deal Name
Required. If left blank, the field is automatically populated with the Tenant Company Name once that field is entered.
Property Details
Listing Lookup Search for an existing lease listing to pre-fill the corresponding fields and sections. If the selected listing has multiple spaces, the system prompts the user to select which space to use. If an existing listing is selected, the Save as New Listing? toggle disappears.
Save as New Listing? Defaults to No. When set to Yes:
- A new listing is created based on the property details entered.
- The Listing Information and Spaces sections become visible.

Transaction Details

| Lease Rent Type | Per Year or Per Month. Defaults to the office setting. |
| Estimated Term | Number of months and days for the lease term. |

| Commission Type | % or $/SF. |
| Estimated Close Date | Required. |
| Gross Commission | Read-only. Calculated as: Square Footage × Rent per SF ÷ 12 × Estimated Term × Estimated Commission %. |
| Lease Type | Dropdown of all available lease types. |
Landlord Information
Company Name — Required. Search for an existing client or create a new one. Editing an existing company name updates the original record. Click X to clear the field.

Broker Partnership

Listing & Space Interaction
- If a space is added, it takes priority over listing-level data for Gross Commission calculation and property creation on save.
- Once a listing or space is added — even if fields are blank — the system uses that listing/space data for Gross Commission and property creation.
- For listings with multiple spaces, a Use This Space toggle determines which space is linked to the deal. The first space defaults to ON; additional spaces default to OFF.
- If the active (ON) space is removed, the next space in the list automatically becomes ON.
