Accounting - Summary Overview

00:04: Hello and welcome to your DS accounting summary tab overview video.

00:08: If you are either an office admin or a managing Broker Than this video is

00:12: for you. When you click on accounting, you'll be directed to the summary tab.

00:17: The goal of the summary tab is to allow you to see any open accounts where there's

00:21: still a balance to be collected or paid to your agents.

00:24: That's what qualifies as an open account.

00:27: The other option is a closed account where you have nothing left to be collected or paid to

00:31: the brokers. Anytime you're viewing information in the summary tab.

00:36: If you were to look at the grid view, you can Resort by any of the column headers, and

00:40: if you click on that Row in particular, it will load you to the deal profile.

00:45: However, there is a sidebar that shows you your company, your debate close production and

00:50: an open account summary. If we were to manipulate any of the available

00:54: filters are open account, summary will update as well.

00:57: So the available filters is a keyword search meaning I can look for my client, my

01:02: deal. Name my address or the delicious ID? We can toggle

01:06: between open accounts closed accounts or the combination of all accounts.

01:12: You'll have the opportunity to filter by individual Brokers, groups are Brokers or

01:16: all Brokers across your firm. There's a date

01:20: range that start range and then end range for the calendar selection.

01:24: If you click into that, you would be able to view any deal that

01:28: has a closed date within your parameters that you choose.

01:32: You always have the opportunity to export your results to excel.

01:35: You can filter by office if you have multiple locations.

01:38: And if you wanted to quickly view, what is closed within the next last

01:42: 30, 60 90 days, or this fiscal year or even all the time, you can

01:46: quickly do so. If you use the customized view,

01:50: it will allow you to take any of these columns in the grid and hide them.

01:54: So just keep in mind if you'd like to condense the data down a little bit.

01:57: You can definitely do so with your customized View.

02:01: You'll also have the opportunity to hide your sidebar and show it again.
